UPDATE (Feb 1, 2007): IE7 Phishing Filter Performance Update is Now Available

Although the instructions in this article still work, the above link provides a potential alternative approach.

The Internet Explorer 7 Phishing Filter may adversely affect the performance of Sitecore clients. To disable the Phishing Filter for Internet Explorer Trusted sites (which should include all Sitecore hosts):

1. Launch Internet Explorer.
   
2. Select Tools > Internet Options (if the Tools menu is not visible press ALT-T).
   
3. On the Security tab, select Trusted sites, then Custom Level:
   
   
4. In the Miscellaneous section, set Use Phishing Filter to Disable:}
   
   
5. When prompted for confirmation, select Yes:
